If your ZTE U880E is not working correctly, you may need to master reset it and also clear the cache partition.
These two resets clear different parts of the ZTE U880E storage. Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data.

To wipe the cache partition, follow next steps:

Turn off the ZTE U880E.
Press and hold both Volume Up and Volume Down keys at the same time.
Press the Power key only until the phone vibrates once, then release only the Power key.
Continue to hold the Volume up and Volume Down keys until the Android System Recovery screen appears.
Press the Volume Down key to highlight wipe cache partition.
Press the Home(GB only) or Power(ICS only) key to select.
Make sure Reboot System Now is highlighted and press the Home or Powerkey to reboot.

To block incoming calls from a number on ZTE U880E, follow these steps:

Note: To block any incoming call that is not added to the reject list, touch the red Phone icon and drag it to the left. To block the call but provide a message, touch Reject call with message and drag up.

From any Home screen, tap Phone.
If necessary, tap Keypad.
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Call settings.
Tap Call rejection.
Tap Auto reject mode.
Tap the ‘Auto reject mode’ Switch to enable.
Tap Auto reject list.
Tap Create.
Enter the number you want to reject.
Note: You can also tap the Contacts icon to select contacts in your logs or contact list.
Tap Match criteria.
Tap one of the following options:
Same as
Start with
Ends with
Includes
Tap Save.
If desired, tap to select the Unknown check box to block unknown callers.
Note: You will receive a message notifying you when a call has been rejected.

Unblock a number

To allow incoming calls from a number you previously blocked on ZTE U880E, follow these steps:

From any Home screen, tap Phone.
If necessary, tap Keypad.
Tap the Menu key.
Tap Call settings.
Tap Call rejection.
Tap Auto reject list.
Tap to clear the check box next to the number you want to temporarily remove from auto reject.

Use the following steps to set the proxy server for a wireless network connection:

1. Ask the network administrator for the information of the proxy-server.
2. Open the Applications tab and click Settings.
3. Click Wireless & networks.
4. Make sure the wireless network is enabled, and connected to the network for which you want to set the proxy server.
5. Click Wi-Fi settings.
6. In the list of available networks, Click and hold the network to which you are connected, until a menu shows.
7. Click Modify Network.
8. Click Proxy Settings, and then Manual.
9. Enter the Proxy hostname, and the proxy port number. Optionally, under Bypass proxy for, you can enter the domain names for which the proxy does not need to be used, typically intranet websites in a corporate network.

To block incoming text or picture messages (SMS or MMS) or mark them as spam on ZTE U880E, follow the steps below:

Using a text or picture message from the spam number
1. From the ZTE U880E Home screen, Click Messaging.
2. Touch and hold on the conversation thread from the number you want to block.
3. Click Register number as spam and then Click OK.

Using the Settings menu
1. From the ZTE U880E Home screen, Click Messaging.
2. Click the Menu key.
3. Click Settings.
4. If necessary, Click Spam settings to select the check box.
5. Click Register number as spam.
6. Click the + icon (plus sign).
7. Manually enter the number or Click the Contacts icon to search your contacts list.
8. When finished, Click Save.

Unblock messages from a number

1. From the Home screen, Click Messaging.
2. Touch and hold on the conversation thread from the number you want to block.
3. Click Remove from spam numbers.

Using the Settings menu
1. From the Home screen, Click Messaging.
2. Click the Menu key.
3. Click Settings.
4. If necessary, Click Spam settings to select the check box.
5. Click Register number as spam.
6. Touch and hold on the desired number and then Click Delete.
7. Click OK.
